Hej!

Morfar: Clover Hill

Ranked in 4th place in the world rankings the legendary Irish Draught sire has sired 39 International show jumpers.

Clover Hill spent 22 years of his life at Ringroe Stud in the county of Tipperary, Ireland with his lifetime owner Phillip Heenan. Clover Hill sadly passed away at the grand old age of 24 in 1997.

Clover Hill is one of the 3 most influential and common bloodlines seen today in the modern Irish Draught. Common for good reason as he is one of the most successful sires of all time who produced outstanding top jumpers world wide.

Pappa: Clover Flush.

Clover Flush has been amazing. This famous son of Clover Hill has proven himself amongst the best of the world, in the world of International show jumping and one of Ireland’s most influential stallions.
His dam is THE QUEEN OF TRUMPS who was sired by the legendary KING OF DIAMONDS, and is a full sister to the Grade A show jumping mare TRUMP CARDER who was campaigned of the show jumping circuit by Jack Doyle. The 2nd dam, CARRIGBRAHAN PEGGY, produced five Grade A showjumpers and two International showjumpers, VAGABOND KING and KINGSMEADOW.

Clover Flush, as a five year old represented Ireland in the World Breeding Championships in Lanaken, Belgium and was placed 10th in the Final. As a seven year old he started his career in Australia, where he created a stir in the show jumping circles. His endless list of achievements include; 1st place in numerous 1.60m International Grand Prix, 1st in three State Championships, Winner of five WORLD CUP shows, and qualified TWICE for the World Cup Finals in Las Vegas.

He represented Australia and won the Norwood Gold Cup at the prestigious New Zealand Horse of the Year Show . He then went on to be reserve for the SYDNEY OLYMPICS in the year 2000. He retired to stud due to an injury when he heroically lept off the top of the Hickstead bank during the Derby.

Clover Flush is a representative of the old style Irish breeding, a combination of two dominant performance bloodlines - CLOVER HILL and KING OF DIAMONDS, which emphasises that the these two sires have been a powerful influence on Irish performance breeding.
Clover Flush is giving us a rare opportunity to combine those two lines again, giving his progeny endless scope and athleticism, with good natured temperaments that are hard to find.
